Managing how many chips you eat

One of the most challenging parts of eating chips is not eating the whole bag in one sitting. And we obviously know that the more chips you eat, the less healthy you'll be. As demonstated in this diagram:

So the question becomes: How do we eat less chips? Well, as the old saying goes,
"Out of sight, out of mind."
But how can we employ this to our advantage? Instead of eating the chips straight from the bag, if you pour half of the bag into a bowl, and then eat from the bowl, you can have a higher success rate for not eating the whole bag. Furthermore, if you employ the strategy from "Making Crisps Last Longer" of placing the chips further away from you, such that you have to swivel your chair or stand up, now you're eating only half the bag at a delayed speed! This is very healthy, at least compared to what we were doing a minute ago of eating the whole bag without thought.

Another tip is to limit yourself contiously. For example, I have an absolute limit of no more that 1 bag of chips per day. If I've already had a bag, that's it for that day. I also aim to not have any consecutive streaks of chips. Like evil Duolingo that kills you if you have a streak too high. Depending on how many chips you eat in a day, you can slowly build up to these limits it doesn't have to be an overnight change.

Insanity

What if, every time you picked up a chip, you had to tell the chip a positive affirmation before consuming it?
"I'm so sorry for what I'm about to do Mr. chip, I promise that you are loved and appreciated even if you dont know it."
